Performance of the Week

John Bonham - "Moby Dick" live, 1975

Thousands of words have been written on the subject of why the late John Bonham is considered one of the best rock drummers who ever lived. You can read all about it, or you can witness one performance that proves the premise, wordlessly.

Bonham's son, Jason, who is preparing to launch his Led Zeppelin Experience tour in October, was just eight years old when he sat in the audience at Earl's Court in London in 1975 as his dad uncorked his legendary solo on "Moby Dick". Ya gotta see (and hear) it to believe it.
